Terms of Use

Effective date: August 4, 2026

These terms govern your use of the US Sand Arena member platform — the website where you create a player profile, check in for Open Play and sign up for tournaments. By creating an account you agree to them. Playing on our courts is also subject to the rules and any waiver you sign at the arena.

1. Who we are

US Sand Arena operates beach tennis, beach volleyball and foot volley courts at Quiet Waters Park, Deerfield Beach, Florida, and runs this platform for its members.

You can reach us at contact@ussandarena.com or at Quiet Waters Park, 401 Powerline Rd, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442, USA.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the member area. You give us a name, an email address and a password, and you complete a short profile before your first check-in.

The information you give us has to be accurate and about you. Keep your password to yourself: anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us right away if you think someone else got in.

One account per person. We may refuse, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that carries false information, or that is used to disrupt the arena or other members.

3. Who can sign up

Accounts are for individuals who are old enough to hold one under our policy and under the law that applies to them. If you are signing up on behalf of a minor athlete, talk to the arena staff first.

The minimum age for a member account is under review and will be stated here once it is set.

4. What the platform does

The platform keeps your player profile, records your Open Play check-ins, handles tournament registrations and pairings, publishes tournament boards and results, and estimates the calories you burned in your own matches.

Coaches and staff may assign you a playing level so that games and brackets are balanced. That assessment is ours to make and it can change.

Some features are still being built and others may change or be withdrawn. We do not promise that the platform will always be available or free of faults.

5. Payments

The platform is free for members. Open Play sessions, classes and tournament entries are paid to the arena — in person at the desk or through a payment link we send you.

We do not process card payments and we never see or store your card details. What the platform stores is whether a session or a registration was marked as paid, by whom and how, so the desk and you have the same record.

If you check in under "pay later", you owe the arena that amount. The arena may require payment before your next check-in.

6. Registering a partner

In doubles events you can name a partner. If that person already has an account, the registration waits for them to confirm. If they do not, you are giving us their name — only do that with their agreement, because their name will appear on the public tournament board.

Arena staff may also register athletes who do not have an account, using the name given at the desk.

7. Photos and what you upload

A profile photo is optional. If you upload one, you confirm it is a photo of you and that you have the right to use it, and you allow us to show it inside the platform to you and to the staff who run check-in.

Do not upload anything illegal, offensive, or that pictures someone who has not agreed to it. We can remove a photo without notice.

You keep the rights to your photo. You can replace or delete it at any time from your profile, and deleting it removes the file from our storage.

8. Playing at the arena

Beach sports carry a real risk of injury. Checking in through this platform does not replace the arena's own rules, the instructions of our staff, or any waiver, medical clearance or insurance requirement that applies on site.

You are responsible for deciding that you are fit to play. The height and weight you may choose to give us are used only to estimate calories — they are not a medical assessment and the platform gives no health advice.

9. Acceptable use

Use the platform for its purpose. Do not try to break into other accounts, scrape or bulk-collect member data, interfere with the service, or use it to harass anyone.

The platform, its content and its branding belong to US Sand Arena. You may not copy or reuse them beyond what normal use of the platform requires.

10. Ending your access

You can stop using the platform whenever you want and ask us to close your account by writing to contact@ussandarena.com.

Records the arena has to keep — such as tournament results already published and payment history — may outlive the account. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.

11. Liability

The platform is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use, for downtime, or for data you gave us that turned out to be wrong.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and disputes belong to the courts of Broward County, Florida, unless the law that protects you as a consumer says otherwise.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top always tells you which version is in force, and we will let members know about meaningful changes. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the new version.
